The Deadliest Bacteria in the World

When people get sick, it is common practice to self medicate rather than consult. Many even go as far as telling friends and relatives what drugs they should take based on what was prescribed to them previously.

Worse, many pharmacies tolerate buying without a prescription. Some personnel (not even licensed pharmacists) go as far as advising patients on what to take, in the interest of profit, rather than encourage patients to consult first before buying any medicine.

Drug resistant bacteriae are no joke. THEY CAN KILL. Worse, we are running out of options/drugs that can kill them. So please – do not self medicate. Google is not a licensed doctor.

It’s Back!

I happened to be in Mercury Drugstore in Alabang to buy some cold medicine when I chanced upon this! As a dermatologist it has been quite frustrating to source selenium sulfide shampoo for my patients with dandruff, and many times I have had to load up in a balikbayan box just so I could make it available in the Philippines. But now, apparently, it’s back! And at Php330.00, it’s also priced reasonably! So excited to share Β this news with my patients!
